• Youth courses

  For children from 8 to 12 years old who want to follow a primary course or a specialty course, there are the WOSD youth courses.

  WOSD youth courses are characterised because the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the courses are adapted to the level of knowledge and motor skills of children.

• Primary courses

  WOSD primary courses are developed for the student who has no experience with the underwater world.

  The main purpose of the courses in this group is to gain a basic understanding of the dive theory and practical skills, which are essential for safe and responsible diving.

• Recreational specialties

  The recreational specialty programs of WOSD are developed to gain more advanced understanding in a specific diving activity.

  During a recreational specialty program normal compressed air is used as a breathing gas and a direct ascent to the surface is always possible.

• Medical specialties

  The medical specialty programs of WOSD are developed to gain more advanced understanding in a specific diving activity.

  The main purpose of the courses in this group is to learn in a safe and responsible manner the theory and practical skills, which are necessary to train divers to diving safety related items.

• Technical specialties

  The technical specialty programs of WOSD are developed to gain more advanced understanding in a specific diving activity.

  During a technical specialty program another breathing gas than regular compressed air is used or a direct ascent to the surface is not possible.

• Instructor courses

  The instructor programs of WOSD are developed to gain more understanding in teaching a specific diving activity.

  The main purpose of the courses in this group is to learn the dive theory and practical skills, which are necessary to train other divers in a safe and responsible manner to a predetermined level.
