WOSD Technical The technical specialty programs of WOSD are developed to gain more advanced understanding in a specific diving activity.

During a technical specialty program another breathing gas than regular compressed air is used or a direct ascent to the surface is not possible.

The WOSD specialty course 'Enriched Air Diver, Level 1' has been developed to teach divers how to safely obtain enriched air up to a percentage of 40% and how to dive with it.

Diving with an enriched air mixture is the way to safely extend the dive time while still doing a no decompression dive.
Ice Diver, level 1...

Ice diving falls under the category of 'penetration diving'. Penetration diving does not allow direct ascents to the surface, but there is usually only one or two exits where the diver can safely return to the surface. This requires extra preparations and safety rules.

During the WOSD specialty course 'Ice Diver, level 1' you will learn how to safely make an ice dive through a hole in the ice.
